About this item
- ADAPTED FOR SOUTHERN STATES: Our Southeast wild flower seed mix is specially formulated for Alabama, Arkansas, northern Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, eastern Oklahoma, Tennessee, eastern Texas, and South Carolina. This tailored blend ensures optimal growth and beauty in these specific climates.
- DIVERSE AND VIBRANT VARIETIES: Our annual & perennial wildflower seed mix includes a stunning array of wildflowers such as Siberian Wallflower, Shasta Daisy, Lance-leaved Coreopsis, Plains Coreopsis, Cosmos, Sulphur Cosmos, Larkspur, Purple Coneflower, Indian Blanket, and more. This combination provides continuous blooms and vibrant colors throughout the growing season.
- POLLINATOR-FRIENDLY AND EROSION CONTROL: Designed to attract bees, butterflies, and other beneficial pollinators, our wildflower mix supports a healthy ecosystem. Additionally, the diverse plant roots help prevent soil erosion, making it ideal for natural landscapes and conservation areas.
- EASY PLANTING AND HIGH VIABILITY: Our bulk wild flower seeds can be easily broadcast and raked into the soil or drilled to a maximum depth of ¼ inch. With a high purity of 95-99% and a viable seed percentage of 70-95%, you can trust in robust germination and growth. Use 1/4 lb. per 500 - 1,000 sq. ft. or 5 lbs. per 10,000 - 20,000 sq. ft. for optimal coverage.
- SEASONAL PLANTING TIPS: Plant in spring when soil temperatures reach 55°F and keep seeds moist until germination. In cooler climates, plant in spring, early summer, or late fall. For fall planting, ensure it’s late enough to prevent germination until spring. Perennials can also be sown in early fall with at least 10-12 weeks before dormancy.
